On June 23rd 2011, Pindar Vineyards along with its sister-winery Duck Walk Vineyards engaged Compugeeks to create a custom Content Management System (CMS) for both of their sites, pindar.net and duckwalk.com. The CMS will allow for editing of both sites in a single interface, as well as creating pages on the fly and a custom blog. The sites will also incorporate a new Client Access Area and Social Media.
Pindar Vineyards, Long Island’s largest winery, encompasses more than 500 scenic acres. They grow 17 varieties of grapes, crafting them into some 23 varietals and proprietary blends, while producing 70,000 cases of wine a year. Duck Walk Vineyards encompasses 140 scenic acres. They produce 35,000 cases of wine a year, and their wines have been repeatedly recognized for excellence in national competitions.
On September 24th, 2009 Compugeeks completed the 2nd phase of lipulse.com. The added functionality includes the addition of a Rotating People Spotlight, Trio Nav, the ability to add lightbox image slideshow to posts, “Question of the Day” which will provide immediate feedback to the voter on how other visitors have voted, a Discount Gift Certificates Store, Table of Contents, Daily Contest, Video Library, Calendars, Plus Nav, RSS Only Specials, Dining Guide and a Blog section with 5 categories.
